Pot Control and suckout on the river

$0.25/$0.5 No Limit Holdem
5 players
Converted at weaktight.com

Stacks:
Hero
($129.90)
CO
($55.00)
BTN
($86.55)
SB
($24.50)
BB
($49.20)

Pre-flop: ($0.75, 5 players) Hero is UTG

Hero raises to $1.75, 1 fold, BTN calls $1.75, 2 folds

Standard raise UTG and BTN calls. No real reads on villain. He seemed to be a solid player but I wasn't sure.

Flop: ($4.25, 2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $4, Hero calls $4

Such a bad flop for my hand. I check and intend to keep this pot small. I don't want to play a big pot on this flop vs a unknown.

Turn: ($12.25, 2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $6, Hero calls $6

I check and intend to fold if he bets 3/4 pot or higher. Once he bets 1/2 pot, it seemed weak so I call hoping to spike a K or a diamond on the river. He could have the Ace of diamond but we'll see how much he bets if the 4 flush hits on the river.

River: ($24.25, 2 players)
Hero bets $24.25, BTN goes all-in $74.8, Hero calls $50.55

I lead pot on my river FB. I didn't think BTN would bluff if I checked it to him or bet thinly. I felt he would call me thinly though because my line looks like I missed a flush draw. BTN shoved and I insta called. I suckout but the money got in good.

Final Pot: $173.85
Hero shows:
BTN shows:

Hero wins $170.85 ( won +$84.3 )
BTN lost -$86.55
