Session Overview and Thoughts

It was a very swingy day. I ran alright and won two buy ins over 1k hands at FTP. I posted all the interesting hands. I will put my thoughts in red later because I need to reformat my computer because my older brother is giving me his old computer. His old computer is way faster than mine, which will make playing poker more enjoyable with all the software I'm running (PT & PA Hud).

I'll try to find a better way to post hand history with graphics. I will hide villain's hand next time because I would like feedback on my lines. You can see I like to play an aggressive game with pot control thrown in here and there.

This is a fine way to post hands. You can also just post the link for the weaktight.com hand history to save space. Basically, if the play is kinda a no brainer, I like to just include a hand history. If I think there really is some deeper thinking on any street, I think it is better to post as you have done here, so you can articulate your thoughts on each street. It is also very beneficial to include key HUD stats on villain in question.

btw, how do you get weaktight to format like this on your blog? Everytime I try to do that, it gives me fits and I get all this greek rap all over my blog. lol So I always manually type out HHs if I want to describe my thought process for each street, which is a pain.

Good session apple!

Also, have an idea for our 4th player - m0niker. You can check out his blog through my bog. I pmed citizenwind and he turned us down, he is too busy right now. Thoughts on m0niker?

Brian,

I get the graphics by clicking on the far right "html" @ weaktight.com. I copy and paste the data into my blog. I post the hand and edit my thoughts in red afterwards.

I will def try to put villain stats in next time. I'll be honest and say I don't always rely PA stats for every decision. I'll try to communicate my thought process on each street and not try to cheat myself after knowing the outcome.

Moniker looks like a great addition into our group (browsing his blog). Keep us updated if he wants to join. If not, look for a math guy because that is my biggest weakness.

No worries about the math part apple - I have two degrees in nuclear engineering, we have that part covered!

I agree you should not always rely on PA stats to make decisions, however they do add a degree to the decision making process regardless, just based on the VPIP/PFR along to get an idea of the villain's range. AF is nice, but I think VPIP/PFR are essential.

Thanks for the tip abuot the hand posting!

If your new computer has a dual core processor you can set PAHUD to use 1 cpu, and Full Tilt to use the other. This can really help the lag/freezing problems when running PA Hud and FTP together.

I don't have a dual processor. However, it's def running more smoother than my old computer.
